In cooperation with experts for hard materials (Helmut Gnaegi, Diatome) and polymers (Bob Vastenhout, Dow) you will be tought all aspects of room temperature and cryo-sectioning in theory and practice.

The workshop is held in the Leica Applications Laboratory in Vienna with its full range of EM specimen preparation instruments. TEM is done at the "Universität für Bodenkultur" in Vienna. Participants can bring their own samples. As social event a visit to the "Heurigen" will give insight to the "Viennese way of life".
